    Description

Just landed another car that I have been trying to buy for years. Sadly that means I have to part with my single cab to make it happen.
Almost entirely original paint, first spray, ZERO bodywork has even been done. Unlikely to find one as original/untouched as this one. Killer patina, with some rust but not where it typically hurts and not bad enough to tackle till you want to if you want to. Frame, out rigs, beam, 90% of cargo floor, drip rail, window surround all SOLID. Gates are original to the bus. Its a rare dual treasure chest model (with access under the bed on both sides) I have been using it for trips to get lumber, going to flea markets and shows, for my daughters candle business, renting it to photographer, and everyday commuting to work in dry weather. It has not once let me down. 1600DP properly set up, clean, with correct air filter etc. Runs great, fair weather reliable daily driver that gets compliments, thumbs up, and conversations started where it goes. An awesome classic with an uncommon amount of practicality being used as it was intended at the same time. Even the door cards and headliner are ACTUALLY original to the car, which is nuts. She is of course at stock height but I do have all the bits to lower for additional moneys if you're interested. Planned to go that way but didn't have it in me once I began enjoying it for its stock appearance and usability.  (Kit includes Creative Engineering IRS Kit, IRS Trans, Axles and other bits, Wagenswest spindles.) Again this would be additional to asking price so lets discuss if you're interested.
Would also consider selling without motor if you had other plans as I need one for my 65 Camper.
Roof rack not included as I built this one, and it lined up with my camper 3/4 rack to make a full length.
Tilt included, done in stained oak.
A Vintage Speed stainless steel exhaust can be included for the right offer. Got it for this bus, but never got to installing it. It was hard to change anything as its just been too easy to enjoy it as it is.
    Clean title ready to go.
Please let me know if you have any questions before you bid. With time being a factor to secure this other car, I would appreciate only serious bidders, and welcome serious offers prior to ending the auction.
As these things go, some key points to make and understand before bidding. Given the age of the car and what it is, and of course the venue in which it’s being listed, I am offering this sale AS-IS, no warranties outside of my word on the items mentioned above, and no refunds of any kind once the deal is done. This said PLEASE ask all questions, come and see/inspect the truck if you’re able, and get all of your own permissions/financing/space cleared in your garage BEFORE you bid. BUY IT NOW can be agreed on at ,500 or upon discussion, so please reach out if this is of interest. The bus is also going to be listed elsewhere and for sale locally, first to pay is the new owner. Otherwise, bid what you can afford to and are committed to pay, and we will see from there! PayPal for deposit is OK, the rest will have to be wire, cash, or certified bank check (PP Fees too high for full payment unless you want to cover them). Nothing gets handed over till funds clear. Pick up here at my house in Barre MA is expected within 5 business days of end of auction. Shipping is responsibility of the buyer, but I will of course do anything I can on my end to help get that sorted. I’ve both shipped a car home and away so I’m happy to lend my experience onto whomever might not have before to make it go smoothly. I have all the paperwork, clear/clean title, ready for new owner to register in their name etc, all will be sent certified mail once funds are cleared.
In closing, my reputation on here means A LOT to me, and my enthusiasm for these cars and the people that enjoy them is my favorite part of this culture. If there is anything you would like to know or share regarding this incredibly original 64 Single Cab, I’d love to chat. Please feel free to consider my feedback, and or speak with anyone that has purchased a car from me in the past if you have any concerns. Thanks again for the interest and good luck with the bidding :) Cheers, Brando
