Fully working Commodore 64 home computer with power supply, composite video cable, 1541 disk drive and ~240 disks!
The Computer works really well, all keys function perfectly with no hesitations. Audio and video works fine through RF or through the video port. Comes with a 1541 disk drive and it will load and save programs no problem. I have not tested the cassette tape port as i don't have a compatible tape player. The cartridge and the joystick ports work perfectly and i have played several games using those.
This bundle comes with everything you need to transport yourself back in time, but with the installation of the JiffyDOS upgrade ROMS (switchable) on the computer and the disk drive, you can load disk software about TEN times faster. I didn't believe it myself until i put it in, its pretty amazing with loading times shortened to what you would expect from disk access!  This bundle comes with approximately 240 disks full of games, software and utilities. Most of the disks have content on both sides, and also have menus to help load and select games appropriately. Its clear a previous owner was into hacking/cracking games and creating their own compilations as mostly everything is well labelled, and there are lots of utility disks relating to creating menu systems and programming/cracking. Its a real treasure trove that would take you quite some time to go through. I have played for a couple of days going through disks and playing games, I was surprised that i have only found one bad disk in the lot so far. I've not really scratched the surface, there's loads of good stuff in here.
The computer box is in really good condition with some small scuffing and marks, serial sticker matches the computer, and has the manual and warranty card and poly inserts. You get also the power supply, composite video/audio cable, RF cable, everything you need to get going!
This computer and disk drive has toggle switches on the rears which mean you can enable/disable JiffyDOS (for compatability with some software that doesn't like it), plus it also has a SwinSID modern replacement SID chip installed too. This computer has also had an internal re-enforcing kit installed to keep the case together from broken tabs and bad screw posts.
You are welcome to pick this lot up in person, it is HEAVY and packing it safely for transport will require care - the shipping cost reflects this if you wish to have it shipped, FedEx seems to be the most reasonable option.
