    Description

    Hello, and thank you for looking at my listing. Available for purchase is a Commodore PET 2001-8 in excellent physical and functional condition. This items comes from my personal collection and is the cleanest 2001 I have personally seen. There are very few scuffs on the exterior case, and the "Chiclet" keyboard has no worn keys. This unit has a PETvet installed for 32K of memory and Commodore BASIC 4.0. The original MOS 6550 DIP memory modules have been removed to reduce heat, but I will include them with the computer, although some of them are faulty.
    I would recommend the buyer replace the power connector to the logic board. It's in bad shape and can require some wiggling for the machine to start (see photo). Would be an easy fix!
    This is not an item I would feel comfortable shipping. It's too nice to take the risk, so this will have to be local pickup only. I would be willing to deliver within a few hundred miles. (Dallas/Fort Worth area).
