Expand your shaping capabilities with this highly polished hardened steel stake. These heavy duty forming stakes allow the user to form both synclastic and anticlastic shapes. Made of hardened steel, these double sided stakes measure approximately 9" in length.
The hexagonal shape of the center of each forming tool can be gripped by a bench vise or more firmly by our Forming Stake Vise.
The Vertical Stake Vise provides the most secure hold, preventing the stake from moving vertically, as can happen with a standard vise
>Combination Stake: 3 small sinusoidal waves & 2 large sinusoidal waves
>Anticlastic/Synclastic Stake: 5 anticlastic grooves & 5 synclastic curves
>Large Diameter Anticlastic Stake: 3 small anticlastic grooves & 2 large anticlastic grooves

>Small Diameter Anticlastic Stake: 4 anticlastic grooves & 4 anticlastic grooves

>Ring Mandrel Stake: Double ended ring 17.5 to 14.5mm on one end and 24 to 19mm on the other.
>Small Sinusoidal Ring Stake: Double ended small sinusoidal stake.
Kit includes :
A heavy duty steel vise holds forming stakes and mandrels in position for forming work. It features a V-groove for holding round, square and hexagonal handles securely. The vise's jaws can open to a maximum of 1-1/2".
The vise is 8 3/4" tall.
Can be mounted to your work bench via bolting directly to your workbench. Vise can vary slightly from picture.
