The Metal Coatings are ground metal suspended in a non-toxic water based acrylic binder. The Metal Coatings are very durable and long lasting.
Simply brush this metal coatings directly onto your clean surface. Use on polymer clay, metal, plaster, resin, wood, ceramic, paper, etc. Apply one coat and let it dry to the touch for about 5-15 minutes. Apply a second coat. You can add a patina or dye oxide while the coating is still damp. Add patinas and dyes in repeated layers to achieve interesting effects. You can try burnishing the coated & patinaed piece with fine steel wool 4-6 hours after application to expose the metal in the coating.
You can "metallize" just about anything you want or change the color of the metal, at will, with this cool product. Apply the coatings with a bit of sponge. It is best to wear gloves when using this product.
