This product consists of an EPS core, along with a liquid applied waterproof costing as well as a textured top coat for adhesion. Installation is simple and can be done by any contractor or do-it-yourselfer. Some of the features are :
* High Density 3lb EPS (Expanded Polystyrene) foam
* Waterproof undercoating
* Acrylic top coating for adhesion on front and back of niche
* Ideal for wet locations
* Lightweight, and installs in minutes
* Ready to tile once installed
* Measures approx 8" x 8" x 3.5" (interior)
* Measures 12" x 12" x 4" (exterior flange)

If you are a contractor, or do-it-yourselfer, then this is the shower niche for you. I personally use this product in all shower renovations, with no negative results. This niche has never been used and is brand new in original box and packaging.
