DANGER: This product contains crystalline silica which is present as a
    contaminant
in the binder clay we use (this sand is approximately 0.6% silica, maximum). Though this product is olivine-based and therefore arguably much safer than silica-based foundry sands, using it will still expose you to some amount of crystalline silica. Long-term exposure to silica in its respirable form (e.g particles below 10 um, abbreviated RCS) has been been linked to can
    cer, silicosis, a
nd other diseases affecting internal organs. Work outdoors or in well-
    ventilated
indoor areas with adequate capture ventilation. Fumes/Dust need not be visible to be harmful. Fine, harmful and potentially invisible dust may remain suspended in workspace air for many hours if
    ventilation
or filtration is not present. Use good industrial hygiene practices: avoid allowing dust to accumulate, don't blow or sweep dust--instead use a HEPA vacuum or water/wet methods to clean up, wash face and body after working with this product, don't eat or drink while using this product, and take steps to avoid bringing into living quarters (including on soiled clothing). This is a basic overview of the health issues and basic mitigation strategies related to RCS--exact mitigation and course of action is up to the user. There is no one size fits all safety advise for working with this substance. Please consult a professional industrial hygienist or other safety professional as needed to find an acceptable solution for your circumstances.
