This unit comes with a collar 4" diameter and 3" high. When installed on the unit it leaves 2" for vent pipe coupling.
******************IMPORTANT INFORMATION******************
The proper Venting Materials and procedure for the venting of the Natural Rise Power Gas Series are as followed.
The preferred material for these heaters is
B-Vent
(doubled walled, galvanized metal outside, polished aluminum inside). The GA5 and GA10 both require 4” venting and the GA16 requires 5”, but the supplied adapter may be used to go up to 6” (Never reduce in size).
Check with your local hardware store. Here is a catalog to identify needed parts.
You must establish an 18” collar rise before installing any bends or condensation catches. Never install a 90 degree bend directly on top of the heater.
The minimum height allowed is 6 ft; this is to allow enough pipe to heat up to properly vent the gases and moisture from combustion. A straight vertical run is preferable.
If horizontal runs are necessary then they must always be sloped up at least .25” for every foot and must be kept shorter than 75% of the total vertical length. Never terminate the venting horizontally; you need the last bit of vertical run to “pull” the remaining gasses that may have cooled in the horizontal run. Many municipalities require a “chase” to be added up to the roof line for any venting running up an exterior side wall of a structure. Please check local guidelines.
If venting through the roof then the termination height will depend on your roof pitch. If condensation is a concern for a specific installation then other more specialized materials should be used most common is Z-Vent (double walled stainless steel on both in and outside layers).
If there are any deviations from these guidelines then please seek the help of a qualified HVAC technician. Improper venting could be hazardous or even deadly .

It is recommended that an inexpensive pre-sediment filter be install for your Marey tankless water heater. This will help capture debris or particles that would interfere with the operation and longevity of your unit.
We suggest that you flush your Marey Tankless water heater at least once a year with white vinegar. There are numerous Youtube videos that demonstrate the procedure. By installing an isolation valve kit to your Marey tankless water heater this makes the process much simpler.

To help us expedite your return please follow these instructions:
Contact us in advance for a RMA number (Return Merchandise Authorization)
Follow the detailed return instructions that we provide to you, which include the RMA# and shipping address to the Marey Customer Service Center in Miami, Florida.
You will then receive your refund after a Marey service technician inspects the returned product and has issued a credit memo.
Buyer is responsible for all shipping costs associated with the 30 day return, plus all returns are subject to a restocking fee. Refunds will not be issued on products that have been broken or damaged by customer!
Product defects are covered by Marey's 5 year Limited Warranty as verified by the manufacturer.

Buyers must consult with a Marey Service Technician first prior to any return request and the unit deemed to have documented factory defect.

3. Customer power supply not suitable for installation of electric units.
