ABOUT MASK
A Punu-Lumbo mask is a tribal mask native to the Ogooué River basin in Gabon, especially in the south of Ngounié Province. PUNU tribal masks are typically characterized with coiffure and pigmented face, including geometric scarifications. Representing female ancestors, the masks are usually painted white as a symbol for purity and peace. Alternatively white beads and metal jewelry are sometimes used for highly intricate/rare pieces such as the one here.
IMPERFECTIONS
Please note these are traditional/old masks. "Imperfections are to be expected" such as dings, broken cowrie shells and minor cracks. We do our best to showcase the mask using as many photos as possible. Mask is in excellent condition.
HOW TO HANG/DISPLAY MASK
All our masks come with a hanging string on the rear for wall display. If you prefer displaying on a table or window bay, we advise you to look for a "Metal V Display Stand". These are also sold on eBay and would be best to contact a supplier for more information and assistance.
SHIPPING AND RETURNS
We require 3-5 days to process and package each order carefully. All shipping will be made via UPS or FedEx dependent on cost. Our return policy is strictly 14 days from the time you receive your order and confirmed as delivered. All returns are paid by the customer regardless of reason/cause. All returns must be in their original shipped condition. Damaged returns will result in a zero refund.
