we are offering a sample pack of the different flooring we offer. This includes samples of our prefinished as well as our unfinished. The box will include about six sq.ft. of our Tavern Select flooring in various colors that we offer as well as our distressed options and our unfinished flooring.
Our unique finish is a modified penetrating tongue oil, our oil finishes work different from common top coat finishes. The oil soaks deep in the wood and is hand buffed the finish actually becomes part of the wood and not just a top coat that will chip and peel like a poly finish.  The oil finish is highly scratch resistant and offers the rich patina and old world look as well as very easy maintenance. Our price for this sample pack is 19.95 and includes free priority delivery, and we gladly refund the price of the sample pack upon the purchase of our floors.

All of our flooring is a
select grade
flooring
not the # 2 utility grade that some companies try to pass off as flooring. It is mostly longleaf southern yellow new growth heart pine flooring. It was recently harvested from old growth pine plantations. The mature longleaf yellow pine is the hardest of all the American pine species, with a janka hardness of
870
compared to red pines 560 and white pines 380. The flooring is a solid 3/4" thick tongue and groove, kiln dried, has stress relief grooves on the back side, and comes in all long lengths, 7 and 8 footers, nothing under 4’. Longer lengths make a tighter floor.

, blue stain is a defect that a lot of companies will tell you that it’s a seasonal problem and will pass it on to their customers, in fact it is just a sign of bad quality control, and is a cheaper grade of wood. We manufacturer this floor with traditional square edges, does not have micro bevels. All knot holes and most imperfections are filled with very durable epoxy putty. color. We finish our floors with a hard oil finish. Hard oil finishes have been used for years throughout Europe and hold up longer and better than any of the poly finishes. The hard oil finish that we use is a
certified green product
that is 100% voc free. Oil finishes are used extensively in commercial applications because of their long life and easy touch ups if scratches should occur.
